been up for nearly 4 months. It includes the all new Lake Tahoe resort,
and with our new content management program, the content is much
easier to manage. Stories, events and promotions are now easier to
update, especially helpful for last minute advertising.

you manage your own website name, the "domain" or are
listed as the administrative contact for your domain you
may receive bills from your registrar.
The registrar is the company that holds the license to your domain
name. You may also get what looks like a bill from other registrars
who want your business. These phony bills are
a solicitation for you to switch from your current registrar, to
them, but they disguise the offer hoping you will pay it without
thinking, which then would switch your service. Similarly as
the telephone companies do. Often times when businesses are busy,
they will think it IS a bill, file the fee and paperwork, and soon
after their website is in limbo as it has changed who manages the
domain for you. If you are unsure about your web domain, who the
registrar is, and whether you should pay a bill or not, ask your
webmaster. They will be able to check and verify in about 5 minutes
whether it is real bill or not. It can be a nightmare if you pay
one of these bogus bills, and then try and regain control of your
website. |

If your website has changeable content, then you should consider syndicating that same content to other sites to broaden your exposure. A good example of this would be for real estate agents, brokers and companies. Your listings should not only appear on your site, but on as many targeted sites as possible so that prospective buyers can see them, along with your contact information.
