Mr. Mammoth
Snow Spy Report - Yes, it
is snowing. It has dumped all day today. Reports suggest that snow
will accumulate 1-2 feet by the storm passes. There is another
storm on the way as well. Hooray, winter has come and thanks to
all who attended the Winter Ullr Festival on Dec. 4 as their prayers
to the snow gods paid off.
Snow is predicted for this Thursday December 6 from 1-2 feet and next week snow
is predicted on 12/13 -12.14 - 12/15 which could bring an additional 1-3 feet.
Unbound Main Park is in excellent condition with
eight jibs, two tabletop jumps and one hip jump. Snowmakers have taken advantage
of low temperatures day and night to perfect Unbound features. Construction of the
Super Pipe is underway. Local forecasts call for continued cold temperatures, excellent
for snowmaking, and potential snow showers next week. Mammoth snowmaking crews will
continue to crank out fresh snow and open even more terrain as conditions permit.
