Mr. Mammoth Snow Spy Report- The snow is still feeling fresh, but a little hard packed. The base is still reported at 9-12 feet with the downhill run from the top of Cornice to the bottom, the best. Cold and Snow is reported for this weekend to break up the last two weeks of sunshine! Plan for a cold spurt for the next few weeks.

The Roxy Chicken Jam will go down at Mammoth Mountain March 28-30 featuring Superpipe and Slopestyle competitions along with a free concert in The Village. The 4th annual Roxy Chicken Jam has a total prize purse for the Slopestyle and Superpipe competitions at $40,000, with another $110,000 from sponsors for a grand total of $150,000 and the World Champ title up for grabs!

The Roxy Chicken Jam will feature a FREE outdoor concert, featuring Silversun Pickups, in the Village at Mammoth Mountain on Saturday, March 29th. Check back for the music line-up presented by Rockstar & you're not going to want to miss this one!.

New Spring Hours at the Ice Rink
Now is the time to take advantage of the ice rink because it is scheduled to close March 23rd. Hours of operation will vary depending on the weather, but the rink will try to be open on the following days and times:

Monday through Friday – Public skate from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights - Public skate from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In the event of extremely warm weather is recommended to call the rink at 934-2505 for current ice conditions.

Mountain Grooming The freshly cut Super-Duper Pipe is 550 feet long and 58 feet wide vert to vert with 22 foot walls and 25 feet of transition. The Super-Duper Pipe joins the competition-sized 450 foot long Super Pipe that has 18 foot walls and 22 feet of transition, located in Main Park. The Mini Pipe rounds out Mammoth’s half pipe offerings with 10 foot walls and is located in the new, entry-level Wonderland Park. Still with a with a 90-12 ft. base, Mammoth has ideal conditions on the mountain and in all three of its world-renowned parks. Spring conditions.
