The Snow Spy - The storm has hit!
Everyone is happy, especially those who want to get out before the
Martin Luther Weekend rush to the slopes. Snow Spy went to investigate
and the early January storms brought 3-5
feet at lower elevations and 4-6 feet at higher elevations with more
coming. The weather is cold, light gusts of wind, but conditions everywhere
are good. You've been waiting a long time for the corduroy and groomers
and now you have it.
Boreal’s
Accelerator high-speed detachable quad chair is now operating to the
top of the mountain. Get more turns in at Boreal because they are open
daily from 9am to 9pm.Now offering 2 parks with over 14 jibs, jumps and
rails.
Northstar-at-Tahoe – open
top to bottom with 16 lifts and 81 trails $51
lift ticket. Value shop lift tickets are valid at Northstar Resort and
Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort from January 2-18, 2008 and March 17 through the
end of the 2007-08 season.
Squaw Valley USA – open
top to bottom with 21 lifts, Olympic Ice Pavilion is also open for ice-skating
Boreal Mountain Resort – open top to bottom, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sugar
Bowl Ski Resort – open top to bottom with six lifts

Take your lunch break at Diamond Peak and get some skiing in! $20 gets
you a lift ticket valid from 11 am – 1 pm, Monday – Friday, non-holiday and a $10
food voucher. Ski or snowboard on your lunch break then pick up lunch. It'll make
your work day go by much faster!

play, drink specials 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM with live entertainment starting at 10:00PM
Celebrate National Winter Trails Day with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association Saturday,
January 12. Snowshoe treks with winter safety talks and demonstrations take place
