Trout Opener is coming! Weekend of April 30, 2005

There is no question that the Trout Opener is a big deal. The Visitors Bureau has been partnering with Berkley, the makers of Power Bait to stock our waters with tons of fish...litterally. They even have specially tagged fish which when caught will earn a cash prize up to $10,000. This customer along with the late season ski customer are your revenue streams during the months of May and June when the town has mixed use. You must target each customer differently as they are not the same person. Develop special promotions for each. Don't wait for their business GO OUT AND FIND THEM. For CityConcierge.com visitors, that is when they are booking lodging and reading fishing news. Call us quick to book your ad space for the opener. Prime ad space is limited that targets these user groups.

New Product - Guest Guides
- Over the winter we introduced our Guest Guide, a custom branded newsletter giveaway that subscribing partners give to their customers that has all the week's activities, events and nightlife happenings. Our lodging subscribers give it with each room key at check in. The guide saves them the effort of having to constantly tell customers what is happening in town, or to aggregate and print their own lists.

If your event information is not in the Guest Guide, then potential customers may not know what you offer. This is the opportunity to put your infomation right in their hands, so you don't have to wait for them to pick it up in a local publication at Vons. Subscribe to the service.


SECRET SAUCE

This winter, Footloose and City Concierge joined forces to develop a program so that rental skis and boards can be reserved. A potential renter can now reserve their equipment online and not wait in line. Equipment is ready for fitting once they arrive. The program is so sweet, it collects information from the web, and prints directly on those horribly long legalese forms rental companies need to use. Each reservation is secured with a credit card over a secure environment safe for transactions. For Footloose, they are landing customers before they get to town and getting incremental increases in sales from soft goods when the customer comes into the store to pick up the equipment. Nice work Tony!
